We’re pleased to share our latest mural, located at 380 Bloor St. W., is now complete.
By local artist Leeay Aikawa, “Soil, Soul, Wholeness” follows the BIA’s request them of Urban Food Systems. Her design was inspired by Mandalas she experienced while traveling: “Mandalas have a long-standing cultural and spiritual significance in various cultures, symbolizing wholeness, harmony, and interconnectedness, while representing collective unconscious. With my mural, I want to promote our interrelatedness and reclaim the livelihood of farmers who nourish soil, which nourishes our body, mind, and soul as a whole.”
