Members of the community brass band Horn on the Cob perform a tribute at Wiener’s Home Hardware’s 100th birthday celebration held June 18 on Howland Avenue. The event was organized by the Bloor Annex Business Improvement Area together with the Annex Residents’ Association and the Harbord Village Residents’ Associations. On June 18, 2022, the Bloor Annex BIA, Annex Residents’ Association and the Harbord Residents’ Association hosted a block party to celebrate Wiener’s Home Hardware 100th anniversary. The community enjoyed live music, food, and got a chance to learn about the history of the family-run store.
