Bloor Annex BIA wins Innovative Award for audio tour of Paul Martel Park Mural

The Bloor Annex BIA is thrilled to announce that we’ve received STEPS Public Art’s Innovative Award for the project “Interconnection Audio Stories: Knowledge, Myths and Legends”, a multidisciplinary collaboration with Indigenous mural artist and storyteller Joseph Sagaj, Indigenous storyteller Jacque Lavallee, and audio artist Saroja Ponnambalam for our mural in Paul Martel Park.

The award is part of STEP’s #MainStreetArtChallenge from last year’s Fall/Winter round. Announced in today’s media release, the winning Business Improvement Areas will receive support from STEPS, in partnership with RBC Royal Bank, for future public art projects.
